Temporary derailing protection. SaberTooth Portable Derails are designed for freight
cars and locomotives. One-way and two way models available.
Tie-Biting Hook at bottom of stepped tie brace prevents derail from being dislodged
during derailing. Four stainless steel thumbscrews secure derail from rolling sideways
or lifting up. Height above rail 2.75". Blue derail flag and holder included. Derail
can be padlocked.

Derail includes blue sign and holder. For rail sizes 100-136 lbs./yd. Tie spacing: 19"-24" on centers. Install derail on wooden ties only. Wt. 50 lbs.
Derails freight cars and 4-axle locomotives at switching speeds. Do not use with 6-axle locomotives as deflection angle is too sharp. (Use one-way derails instead, placing them back-to-back, one left-hand, one right-hand for two-way derailing.)
