Why Aldon® recommends using two jacks per trailer It is a basic engineering principle that the sides of a projecting load need equal support. A trailer body projects nearly 12 feet out from the landing legs. If one or both of the legs give way, a single jack in front will act as a fulcrum and not be able to ovecome the tipping action.
